57, passed on July 22nd. Born in Providence, RI on March 10, 1961 she was the daughter of Alfred D. Postle Sr. and the late Mary (Brady) Postle. Also survived by a daughter, Samantha Peloquin of Newtown, MA; a brother, Alfred D. Postle Jr, and nieces, Sydney and Taylor Postle of Pawtucket, RI.
Barbara lived in Pawtucket most of her life and was a 1979 graduate of Pawtucket West High School, (now Shea). She was last employed at Neighborhood Health of Rhode Island in accounts receivable and also worked at Fleet Bank in the loan department and East Providence Teachers Credit Union as an accountant. She was a communicant at St. Maria Goretti Church and later Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Barbara loved watching the Red Sox, Patriots and the Beatles. She had a passion for learning, attending night classes at CCRI and Providence College for many years. She enjoyed her numerous trivial pursuit battles with her brother and lifelong friends, Karen and Louie Vine.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 26th at 9:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence at 11am. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Wednesday 5pm until 8pm. www.thekeefefuneralhome.com.
